Stories + Transformations = Sales

If you’ve ever geared up for an exciting launch or you’re thinking of launching something new, chances are you get excited about all of the features and benefits of your launch.

Well here’s something to think about:

Here’s the deal – engaging stories and transformations could be the missing pieces of your previous launches. Now, if you’re launching something for the first time, these are two pieces that you don’t want to leave out.

In terms of your sales pages, email sequences, and social media posts there’s a lot of room to talk about all the features and benefits of your offer. Right?

But what if I told you that people don’t really resonate with features?

Here’s what they resonate with instead:

  • How something is going to change their life.
  • The reason you created your offer
  • The transformations you’ve delivered for previous customers or clients.

When it comes to your offer sales page, this looks like headlines that boldly share how someone’s life can be changed…

It also looks like getting people to visualize their life after they’ve invested and done the work within your offer.

As for your email sequence, this looks like sharing personal stories related to your offer, trending industry information that’s tied into your offer, and customer or client transformations that you’ve delivered before…

By the way, in terms of customer or client transformations doesn’t just mean sharing a quote or two from the customer or client.

What it really means is, sharing what the customer or client initially came to you for, what they were struggling with, and how their life changed after investing and doing the work within your course, program, or digital product.

So, if you’re thinking about your next launch, be sure to not only map out the features but also start thinking about how you’re going to prime your audience with information that not only delivers facts about your features but also builds authority and allows them to know, like, and trust you.

You want to think about who your ideal customer or client really is – what keeps them awake at night and what they’re tired of.

These are things that I like to ask clients who I write launch copy for. Usually, when I ask them these types of questions, they respond by saying “Good question, I never really thought about that before.”

These are questions that allow you to go beyond the surface of your launch and truly position you as an expert.
