Hey there, I’m Danielle, a former TV news reporter turned content strategist, and founder of Chayil Media Publishing. I believe the work God has called you to do deserves to be seen, valued, and paid for.

A FEW CHAPTERS BACK

Nope, I’m not new to this…

I was adopted at birth by parents who played a big role in nurturing my love for being a creative. They’ve both since passed away, but their influence is still very much a part of who I am.

I’m a millennial through and through, and as a kid, you could find me reading Chicken Soup for the Soul books, flipping through magazines, or reading an encyclopedia.

Yes, an actual encyclopedia…for fun.

Before “link in bio” became everybody’s favorite marketing instruction, I was figuring out how to sell a poetry book I self-published in 2012.

Two years later, I started a blog that became a print and digital magazine, complete with its own app.

Today, it’s an independent journalism outlet for Christian women entrepreneurs.

I also spent nearly seven years working as a TV news reporter at local CBS affiliates in Central and Southeast Alabama.

By 2019, I had quite a few things under my belt. I decided to bring my experience together to launch Chayil Media Publishing.

So, What Does Chayil Mean?

Chayil is a Hebrew word associated with strength, courage, and capability. It’s connected to the “woman of valor” in Proverbs 31.

Honoring God in business includes communicating the value of your work, serving people well, and confidently inviting the right clients to work with you.
