Why You Should Stop Obsessing Over SEO

by | Jan 2, 2023 | 0 comments

It’s easy to get caught up in the hype about search engine optimization (SEO).

You’re constantly told that you need to include the right keywords, use proper header tags, and make sure our website is mobile-friendly in order to rank well in search engines.

But is all of this emphasis on SEO really necessary? I would argue that it’s not.

Don’t get me wrong, SEO is important. It’s essential for ensuring that your content is visible to search engines, and it can help to drive traffic to your website. But that doesn’t mean that it should be the sole focus of your content.

I believe that focusing too much on SEO can actually detract from the quality of your content. If you’re constantly worrying about including the right keywords and making sure your website is technically sound, you might not be able to fully concentrate on creating engaging, conversational, and compelling copy.

Instead of obsessing over SEO, I believe that the focus should be on creating content that is truly valuable and interesting to your ideal client. If you can do that, the SEO will take care of itself.

Sure, it’s important to include keywords and make sure your website, sales page, or blog post is technically sound. But those things should be secondary to creating content that is truly engaging and valuable to your audience.

At the end of the day, your content must strike a balance between optimizing for search engines and creating compelling content that will truly resonate with your ideal client.
