5 Elements of a Solid Social Media Strategy

by | Jul 22, 2020 | 0 comments

Building brand awareness for other creative brands on social media is one of my favorite things to do in my business.

That’s just one reason why I’m sharing 5 elements of a solid content strategy. These tried-and-true tips will help you build brand awareness to reach your target audience.

1. KNOWING YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE

This is said a lot. However, it’s important that you understand who your target audience truly is and what their needs are.

2. HAVING A PURPOSE IN MIND

There should be clarity around what you want to accomplish for your brand. Maybe that’s increasing product sales or converting more followers into clients.

3. COMMITTING TO THE RIGHT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

It’s time to dig deep with this one as well to find out where your target audience hangs out. Keep in mind that your brand may not need to be on Tik Toc or Pinterest. A good rule of thumb is to stick to 2 social media networks where you know you’re able to catch the attention of your target audience.

4. AUDIT YOUR CURRENT SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES

Find out what’s working and what’s not working for your current social media content. This is also where you should take a good look at your social media insights to get a better idea of the best days and times that your connections are online or how many people are visiting your website or social media profiles daily.

5. STRATEGICALLY RESEARCHED HASHTAGS

If you’re using the same hashtags on every post, I need you to make a big change and switch it up for more engagement. In fact, platforms like instagram do not like for you to use the same hashtags over and over again. When you have a good hashtag strategy you’ll begin to get discovered by more people in your target audience.

Now, I hope these tips are helpful for you.
