Why Sticking to the Facts is Costing Your Launch

by | Feb 15, 2021 | 0 comments

It’s not uncommon to see brands launching new offers throughout the year.

However, when it comes to launches, no matter how exciting they are, they can also be overwhelming to most entrepreneurs – especially if you’re a solopreneur.

Maybe you’re one of those solopreneurs right now who is thinking of launching a new offer in the future or maybe you have a small team behind you working away on administrative tasks, while you dream up your new offer.

Despite how exciting things seem, writing your sales page, email sequences, and social media content to support your launch is still overwhelming.

It’s overwhelming to the point where you’re thinking “Let’s get straight to the point with the facts.”

You’re ready to push your offer out there with a bullet list of facts. However, that’s not the actual route to take.

Listen up, because sticking to the facts could cost your next launch.

Let’s dive into 3 reasons why this is the case:

1. Potential Customers or Clients Are Unsure of Your Offer’s Transformation

People want to know what’s on the other side of investing in your new services.

Unfortunately, facts only scratch the surface when it comes to transformation. Facts from modules or what something does – doesn’t paint the picture of how someone’s life could be better after taking that next step to invest.

2. Unclear Buyer Journey

Whether it’s your sales page, email sequences, or social posts – your audience is missing the narrative behind why they should take action. In other words, there is no story to guide them along the journey.

3. Vague Headlines and Subject Lines

I come from a journalism background where I’m all about grabbing the reader’s attention from the very beginning of the topic at hand.

Sales page headlines email subject lines should spark curiosity. I’m a big believer in going beyond the general topic.

The key here is to have a clear buyer journey that incorporates those mind-blowing transformations, because at the end of the day no matter how pretty a sales page is – words matter.

Is this something you’re struggling with?

If so, I’d love to chat with you about how I can support you during your next launch.
